On March 31st, we purchased our couch. Our experience at the store was very easy and our sales person seemed knowledgeable. We found a sectional that we liked and were able to customize it for ONLY a $100 more. Our sales person told us that we would have the couch within 4-6 weeks. After about 3 weeks I called the store to ask for the status of our couch. This is when all the problems started.... Read more

Purchased a 5 year extended warranty. When the arm on the sofa split and we made a claim they refused to cover anything other than what the manufacturer already covered. Customer service Manager Tim Wilson was rude and made it clear that honoring the warranty was NOT the priority. Each time I spoke with them the reason for non coverage was different. Purchased a bed and mattress set from the Casa Grande, AZ store on a Friday, set deliver for Sunday. Called and spoke with an associate who said that all my items were not delivered to the store then spoke with the manager who said a different manager in the store had it removed from the delivery truck the day of delivery. The casa grande room store is the last place I'd ever go back to shop the last time I was there the managerdtdropped drugs out of his pocket on to a couch and he still works there Add comment

I was a good customer of The Roomstore. Note I say was. Over the last 15 plus years I've purchased several pieces of furniture from the N. Tatum, Phoenix, AZ store. Most recently, I ordered almost $3,000 in merchandise including a bed and some living room furniture. The bed was delivered no problem. The sectional and large chair are another issue entirely. Purchased a living room set on 4-11-2014. Was explain by salesperson "Gus" all was in stock and set to be delivered on May 1st. Took day off from work to wait for items to be delivered. Got 4 different phone calls periodically up to this date to confirm that delivery team would be bringing furniture out that date. .Waited all of May 1st till delivery team show up at about 7:00pm that evening.... What a nightmare! Ordered 10-16-13 with a requested delivery date of Nov 3rd. Have given me "next week" promises because sofa wasn't available. I had company coming the 14th of Nov. and since I moved to this house on Nov 1st I assumed this was a good delivery request. Last summer, my husband and I built a brand new home for our family of 5 which includes 3 young children. We spent over $5500.00 dollars of furnishing for this brand new home the day of settlement. I weigh 150 pounds. I was the only person that sat on the couch. I am very "fussy" about keeping my furniture nice and clean. I never put my shoes on the couch, etc. After a month, I noticed the fabrics in the furniture began separating. Within 2 months, a hole developed. I filed a claim because I bought the warranty.
